KETCHUP: (MAY 15-17)

The 16th: We played with Kiara,making paper airplanes,blowing bubbles,doing some origami and crafts and other things.Then we got Kelly and went to the mall and then went to the Othello Tunnels.I collected rocks to make a Zelda dungeon. the 17th: Kello had given Joy her Bday present which was a gift card for Coles.So we went today.Joy bought her book and she got a Horcrux locket from Harry Potter.She let me buy a Hogwarts Castle snowglobe with Harry riding his broom.When we got home we shared our watermelon with the neighbors and I played with Kiara again

May 14:

Today we worked on "Ketchup" did some math,English and work in our ocean workbooks.Also did some art and crafts!Then went to Brownie's.I also got 2 "trying trophies" One for trying at math even though I was feeling frusterated,and the second for combing my hair even though it was uncomfortable

May 11-12

May 11: We worked on some of our May photography project.played at the park and played ball with Kiara and did some artwork with chalk May 12: We were going to play with kiara and sell cookies but it was raining

May 10:

Today is Mother's Day.Technically we celebrated yesterday so we had a relaxed day at home.We watched part of "Howls Moving Castle" and had pasta and a McD's sundae for dessert

May 9:

Today is Joy and Alice's Anniversary.We went to the Leisure center pool.They had a wave pool,floating monkey bars,a diving board,rover,hot tub and waterslide!! I dove for my first time on the diving board!!! Then we went to Swiss Chalet with Gramma and Poppa to have a early Mother's Day-Anniversary dinner.Joy calls it the Motherversary.I also ran into Inara,Maddison and Neveah at the pool!

May 8:

Today we worked on Mother's Day crafts,thumbprint fireflies.An interview for Gramma,a Zelda picture for Nannie,a recipe for love.I made Alice a Kirby I sew'd myself with a warp star!!!

May 7:

Today I showed Joy how to play some of the video games I have.We also made stone soup.I had Brownies tonight and we made our moms mothers day presents,I hid it in my arm pit but showed it to Joy in the car! It was an owl stuffie that we sew'd ourselves!!! We decided to name him "Ridley"

May 6:

Today was a "ketchup" day.We read the books that had to be returned to the library.and we made a book-recipe book from the stories that come with food idea's!! so far we have "the catfish tale" gumbo recipe."stone soup","dragons love tacos" "gruffalo crumble" and then a few added like "friendship fruit salad" We also learned more about filling your bucket.We have a bucket we use that we put "owl-mazings" into I also had swimming today

May 5:

Today is Cinco De Mayo so we played some pin the tail on the donkey.We also worked on the "Kittens can count" workbook

May 3-4:

Today is "May the 4th" Star Wars Day!! May-the-4th be with you!! So I got Remi an angry birds Darth Vader game container with a Chewbacca and I watched them play star wars video games!Then we watched "the clone wars" I had also bought a glow stick to be a light saber but it didn't work so we are buying new one's tommorrow! Remi also worked on some Star Wars activity sheets for school.

May 2:

Today I had an eye apt then I got $3 to go to the dollar store.I got 3 pkg's of Pokemon cards! I ended up getting alot of good cards I didnt have yet.Then we played the try-out video game at the electronic store.Once we got home we tried to finish the calm down jar but it still didnt work so we have to try a different way

May 1:

Today is Beltane!!! So Beltane Blessings~ We tried to make "faerie magic" but realized the stars wouldnt fit into the jar. We also were going to make a "sensory calm down jar" but we ran out of material so will try again tommorrow.We did our first picture for the May-A-Day photo challenge which was to represent Peace.We also signed up for the David Suzuki 30 x 30 day photo challenge to get outside. Then we played at the park with Kiara and collected stone's for the "stone soup" we are making to go with the book.

Apr 30:

Today we made a terrarium for Martina since her father passed away,we also took food for the food bank and cleaned garbage up at Brownie's.Then we learned how to make it sound like a rain storm with our hands.

Apr 29:

Today we worked on "ketchup" items.We made the cupcake liner chicks for Easter,Did some more "spine" poetry.Made the cherry blossom branch for Vancouvers 125th Bday.Worked on some writing and matching.and did "the wrinkled heart" for anti-bullying Then I had swim lessons and stayed for the open swim afterwards. When we got home Joy watched Mario cat show with me

Apr 28:

Today I got to play Pokemon online and Joy went through it with me,so we were both learning.WE also worked more in the ocean activity book,did some writing and worked on the math flash cards.

Apr 27:

Today we worked on an ocean workbook,we also practiced writing and reading and finished the origami tree's.Joy practiced her pokemon site.

Apr 26

Today we went shopping.I got a bunch of pokemon from the "quarter" machines with my money from doing well on my reading and telling time.While we were at the bank we saw a girl trying to run away b/c she had stolen some things.She did get caught but the people chasing her were very rough with her.It was a little unsettling.We had a discussion about why people may steal and how others could handle the situation properly We also went to the park and I got to show Joy the newest installment.The slide is huge!We stayed there for awhile then came home for dinner and got to bed on time since Joy has an early apt tommorrow

Apr 25:

Today we went to the river.We saw a stump that had been chewed on by beavers and got a few peices.We then went down by a broken bridge and found a dam but heard a growl so left very quickly.We also thought there was a tick in our bucket but turned out it was just a bug that looked similiar...we checked online when we had gotten home.We took some pictures and Joy is using the dandylion one I took as a meditational focus point for breathing techniques.Joy also took a video of the river for that purpose as well.On our walk back we saw a tree that had what looked like fresh bear claw marks so we got back to the car quickly.Joy said maybe spring isnt the best time to tromp through the woods :)

Apr 24:

Today is Arbour Day we made some orgami tree's! I read Joy 4 books by myself!! and showed Joy I can tell time without using the digital clock! We worked on Math and I did some stuff on the moshi monsters site.I also made Joy a lullaby then turned it into a regular song on the music compilation site I have.Later we built lego creatures and battled.I literally made Joys fall apart so I won that one.Joy made what she called a "drog" a water dragon-dog I named it "Marrow" Joy said good choice since dogs like bone's. Joy said her Drog lived in the water woods with the water elemntal forest folk. I said Marrow liked to catch cat fish.Joy's Drogs nick name is "nose-hole" b/c he breathes blue fire from his nostrils.He also has a blue cape and wears blue chux. with an antler samurai hat
